:-( It could have been any no-name brand for all the taste in it. i bought this from a Harris Teeter's grocery store because I love Earl Gray and lavander and tea for that matter. The smell from the box is exquisite, but the taste of the tea is bland and dissapointing. My office mate felt basically the same.I was really looking forward to a wonderful cup of tea.
In my opinion, it's far better than any other brand I've tried. I feel it is quite similar to its Twinings' counterpart, but I give this one the edge.
Cool visual effect against the dark black tea leaves. If you want to try an Earl with a unique citrus zing, go for Stash Double Bergamont.
If you want an Earl Grey that doesn't hold back on the bergamont, I'd suggest Tazo. Lady Grey by Twinings also tastes great, and includes small blue flowers, which you can see in the loose leaf version.
This is my favorite brand of Earl Grey tea. Of the conventional Earl Grey teas that are relatively easy to find, my favorite is Bigelow's.
I think it includes grapefruit flavoring (just my perception).
I was introduced to this tea at a fine restaurant, and I have not been able to get it out of my mind. It stands alone as a relaxing, yet energetic aroma/flavor combination, which may have you daydreaming of lavender fields and warm, wafting, sunny afternoons. Revolution's Earl Grey Lavender Tea has me spellbound. This is a most aromatic and flavorful tea, and one you will not soon forget, as it is so uncommonly delicious.
